Smarter Grower Champagne at the Foodies Festival at Clapham Common, London

Smarter Grower Champagne presents Champagne L&S Cheurlin’s “Sébastien Cheurlin” at the Foodies Festival at Clapham Common, June 2013.

Pale yellow in colour with green highlights and abundant fine bubbles, this Prestige Brut Champagne is a perfect mix of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir.

The Foodies Festival travelling event, the UK's largest celebration of food and drink and now in its 7th year, took place for the first time in the relaxing surroundings of London’s Clapham Common.

The three-day festival included the ‘finest products currently on offer’, with top local restaurants, including “Barbecoa by Jamie Oliver”, providing signature sample dishes for the discerning foodie.

To complement the food there were drinks Masterclasses, including conducted Champagne tastings with Charles Metcalfe, Honorary President of the Association of Wine Educators; supported by the Champagne Bureau.

Smarter Grower Champagne’s collaboration with the Champagne Bureau and Charles Metcalfe is part of the Champagne Bureau’s educational tasting and wine educators’ support programme.

The Champagne Bureau is the educational and promotional arm of the Comité Interprofessionnel du Vin de Champagne (CIVC) based in Epernay, France.
