More success for Smarter International . . .

MONDAY, JUNE 18, 2012

Smarter is delighted to announce that TASTED Journal, a supplement of the sumptuous and luxurious TASTED Magazine, has recently published the unedited comments from two of the Best Sommeliers of the World; Markus del Monego (Germany) and Andreas Larsson (Sweden) who, for the first time ever, collaborated on a blind Champagne tasting.

Using the international 100 points system, which is internationally well known and accepted, TWO of Smarter’s Grower Champagnes featured in the listings. Champagne Dérouillat scored 85.5 points for its L'Esprit (Premier Cru) in the Blanc de Blancs category and, 85.5 points again for its Cuvée Cécile (Premier Cru) 2005 in the Vintage Brut category.

Champagne Charlemagne also was successful, scoring an impressive 88.5 points for its Réserve Brut (Grand Cru) in the Blanc de Blancs category.

The “Association de la Sommellerie Internationale” has crowned just 13 Best Sommeliers of the World since 1969.

Full details can be found using the TASTED Journal link.
